Pasquale Cannatelli
Born on 8 September 1947, he has a degree in economics and business administration from the Catholic University in Milan and began his professional life in 1972 at Rank Xerox: in 1985 he joined Farmitalia Carlo Erba as group controller.
He subsequently worked for Alitalia, first as finance director and then as controller, then again at Farmitalia where he was chief financial officer for the Erbamont Group. In July 1997 he was appointed to the board of directors of Mediaset SpA and took up the position as central director of planning and control.
In May 2003 he became chief executive of Fininvest SpA. He is also a member of the boards of Mediaset, Mediolanum, Mondadori and AC Milan.
